Squirrel Scout news
New Squirrel Scout Drey opens in Astwood Bank!
In September 2024 we were thrilled to open a new Squirrel Scout section for children aged 4-5 years. We are only the second Squirrel Scout Drey in Redditch! We’ve had a brilliant term exploring the Great Outdoors, hunting for squirrels in Overdale Park, planting bulbs, toasting marshmallows, putting up tents and playing lots of games. We’ve earned lots of badges and even took part in Remembrance Day parade through Astwood Bank – a long walk for little legs! We are very proud of the Squirrels and adults who bravely made their Promises in October. Thank you to everyone who’s helped establish our new group, including Astwood Bank Community Group who donated funds to help us buy our flag and badges. We’ll looking forward to many more Squirrel Scout adventures in 2025!
